Pastor Cal and Susan Rychener have been pastoring in Peoria, IL, since 1990 when they came as a young family to plant Northwoods Community Church, right on the heels of a tragic loss. As they followed after God and their family grew, the small church plant was also growing exponentially, with thousands attending weekend services within ten short years.
How do you keep your love and faith alive when the demands of ministry are endless, and the wounds from your past threaten to divide you? Or when you have to trust God and step away from what you’ve always known? As they celebrate over 40 years of marriage, Cal and Susan share with us the hope they have as they reflect on their past and look to what God has in the next season. You are going to love their laughter, candor, and their challenge to “shut the tractor off” to say those things that need to be said.
